Does anxiety play a bigger role than the pelvic floor?

Honestly I think my problem is 80% in my head. The second I start worrying about lasting, it's over. Has anyone else found that working on the mental side mattered more than the exercises?

You are pointing at something real: arousal is regulated by both the body and the nervous system, and anxiety is one of the strongest accelerators of the ejaculatory reflex. That does not make the physical training useless, it makes it incomplete. The pelvic floor gives you a brake; managing anxiety keeps your foot off the accelerator. What helps the mental side: - Diaphragmatic breathing: slow, deep breaths lower the 'fight or flight' activation that pushes you to finish fast. - Reduce performance focus: shift attention from 'how long am I lasting' to sensation and your partner. - The 1-10 arousal scale gives your brain a job instead of leaving it free to worry. - Consistent sleep and lower overall stress measurably help. If anxiety is persistent, a sex therapist is a genuinely effective addition, not a last resort.

Same here. Slow breathing before helped me more than any exercise.
